On Saturday 7th July 2007 The Burgate School and Sixth form Centre is holding a duck race to celebrate the school�s fiftieth birthday.

Proceeds from the duck race will go towards raising the fifty thousand pounds needed to become a specialist Humanities College.

The duck race will take place at 12pm on a stretch of the River Avon adjacent to Fordingbridge Recreation Ground.
