International ducks seek immediate adoption!

Cork's going quackers!

The Great Cork Duck Race is coming to town! 1000's of these little yella fellas will be racing down the Lee from the Shakey Bridge in Fitzgerald Park on October 1st at 2pm, but they will only find their way to the water if they're adopted by the Cork community!

The Great Cork Duck Race is a great opportunity for the local Cork community to get involved with social enterprise and support local youth organization, active nationally and with an international link, Peace Child Ireland.

What's different about Peace Child is that it's run by young people. The over 25's advise and the under 25's decide. Peace Child youth are actively being the change they want to see in the world through their own education programmes.

"...every young person in the country will have the opportunity to participate in projects to combat alcohol or drug abuse or projects supporting street children in India. We want to make our voice heard and create real solutions to the real problems that face our society and our world."

So get quackin and click on the link to adopt a duck today for just €10! First 10 winning ducks get massive prizes!
